Castanos has taken a big lead with 4 wins lately per week doing the job….Tedrick has passed Mark for second place….Laca, who has missed action due to left knee problems dropped from 3 rd to 5 th ….Mondra has improved greatly, and for a guy who missed several weeks is in good shape to move up a couple more notches on the board…..Chip has missed the past two weeks now………….It was extremely cold in action March 2 nd …..Nice weather in the 80s is expected for the rest of the week…..League is now down to 11 weeks, with one week rained out and one week canceled due to court renovations……

Cancha Notes………..Event was delayed for 10 minutes, as Tedrick and Mondra showed up late, with Mondra missing the singles backcourters game. They joined in the middle of game 2 – ironically as a team together! ….King was scratched due to his kid having to go to hospital….the good news is they caught pneumonia at the beginning stage, and he is back home and back to being a kid….as a nice prize, Mr. King, you still scored 64 points by not showing up!……no one can say if you miss a week, you are helpless in having a chance to win in this league…..nice weather we are having now… Tedrick was the leader in Week 5 with 82 points, nipping Castanos by one points who had 81….Laca and Mark were tied for third……..attendance lately has been bigger than crowds at Hamilton….The handle is about a tie……………..

Laca is still in a surprising third place, but is catching like the name of the player he pretends to be……regular action started at 6:28 after the rained out game 7 was played to begin the evening at 6:45pm…..Check out that exciting game 3 and 6 scores and the rained out game 7 scores… for close action….Mondra is nowhere to be seen and still has 167 points…..unbelievable…..something needs to be done here…..

Event started 33 minutes late, then lasted 3 hours and seven minutes. The last volley was as 9:45pm. Reason- light were not on- plus a lot of points were scored. However, the NJAA was able to get a hold of the city and the lights were turned on. Something about the New Year, and why computer did not have the lights coming on or something like that. It won't happen again, we hope……King was playing like Superman in game 1 singles…..Castanos is playing in his first league event…..Mondra was scratched due to illness, but scored 74 points while laying in bed…..he got two wins and almost a third in the game played by Tedrick…..Dave Sellers did not show, but his place was promptly taken by Julio….
