The National Jai-alai Association (NJAA) is a non-profit association devoted to promoting and preserving one of the world's most treasured sports. Our goal is to introduce the game of Jai-alai to a new generation of players of all ages and assist in getting amateur courts built across the USA for them to play on. Through a structured league format like Little League baseball, we will focus our members to understand the true integrity and sportsmanship of the game. The NJAA wants to get this message out about this great sport and that is more than just a pari-mutual game. In the Basque region, where the sport was invented nearly four centuries ago, Jai-alai means "Merry Festival". It is this type of "family atmosphere" we want to convey to our members.
